More than 2 months since my last entry. People have been asking if I've been updating. Apologies to those who've been checking to see if I've updated. *Are you reading this, Corine? Glad that I've updated my journal once again? =)*
I've tried to update my blog ONCE since I got back from Melbourne, but there were problems that night and I didn't have the patience to wait around for the page to load.

So what's been going on? I've just had this hair-cut recently that's a BIT too short. I think its pretty bad. Don't think I want to meet anyone until I manage to grow it out to a decent length. I'd say 1 month would be a good time to venture out to meet people again. I think I should never go cut my hair when rushing for time, EVER AGAIN. This seems to always happen.

Maybe you'd like to know what I've been doing since I got back from Melbourne. I've been going for job interviews, hanging out with friends, did some shopping, spend ALOT of time in front of the TV, be it ASTRO movies or my Playstation 2.

Went to watch "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" for a 2nd time in the cinema now. For RM 5, it was a bargain. I think that's the only time I've been to the cinema the entire 2 and a half months I've been back in Malaysia.

In all honesty, I got a couple of jobs and here's how long I lasted.

Job #1 - 2 days
Job #2 - 4 1/2 days

From personal experience, there are many kinds of people out there in this world. You can't really judge the book by its cover, like the saying goes. Damn, even job vacancy ads are so misleading.

Which leads me to another point, honesty. Where do we draw the line? How much information should we reveal? Should we lie to protect ourselves? Let's face it, all of us have told lies at one point in life, at one point or another. I believe I have mastered the art of "selling" to a certain degree. We tell people what they want to hear. A couple of interviewers have told me I'd make a good salesman because I can "talk".

Should we lie to protect ourselves? I only lasted about 5 days at my second job because I was too honest. Should I keep information to myself for the sake of my own protection? Maybe its no longer feasible to do what's right, but to do what's practical. Keeping information from others isn't technically lying, or is it?

For awhile, I thought I might've gotten abit to philosophical. Time to stop.

Ben hasn't replied my email which mentioned that I was to resign. Hopefully he's just busy and not pissed. Maybe I'm worrying over unnecessary matters. I'm sure Ben is understanding.

Getting a job isn't easy, what's more, getting a job which I think I would last in. Life has been one worry after the other, first it was about whether I could graduate. Then it was whether I could get my Australian PR. Then it was if I could get a job. Life's challenges/obstacles I suppose.

I would seriously go out and do something. Sitting at home all day long is alright but it gets boring after awhile. Parents don't seem to understand. It's not that I'm not trying to get a job - I do try. Best of luck to me.

Friends, though there are the few who are available to meet up - some just are too busy with their own plans. Can't say I blame them, we have our own lives to lead.

Somehow I think my blog wouldn't be complete without complaints. Here's one to start off:

I dropped my new Samsung T-100 phone a few times now. First, I think the vibrator in the phone is busted. Uhuh. No more vibrate mode for me. That could be the result of the first few falls onto the parquet floor in my room. The lovely metallic silver casing now bears the scars due to my carelessness. I dropped the phone onto the tar road and as a result, there are deep scratches all over the phone now. I want a new phone! The NOKIA 6610 looks pretty good.

Enough complaints for now. Time to stop for the time being.
