Day: 135 (Tuesday, 30th April 2002)
Status: On call
Days without PS2: 23 days (estimated)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's really cold at the moment. I'd think its about 5 degrees outside. I'm wearing 2 layers of clothes, a tee and a long sleeved one over it. It's not even winter yet. Fingers feel a little frozen but I'll manage. All of you want something to read don't you? ; )
Let's see.....

Sunday, 28th April 2002

Relatives arrived early Sunday morning. They are here for KA graduation on the 2nd of this month. I was awakened by loud voices that morning. It must have been around 8 am. After some chatting, they went for their rest. We left about 4 hours later to the city for lunch. Had dim-sum for lunch. The bill came up to about $ 100+ for the 7 of us. Went to Daimaru after that to have a look around. Hrm...saw some things that I'd like to get but my wallet disallows it. Saw a Timberland tri-fold wallet. I actually saw that a long time ago. It was selling for $ 79. It looks alright but I don't really like the colour which was sort of a rusty-brown colour.

At the next floor, saw some fragrances. Buy HUGO "Dark Blue" or HUGO "Man" and get a free HUGO beanie. Guess winter's coming, marketing ploy. 2 reasons I was interested:

a) My Perry Ellis "360 Degrees" is running out and
b) There's a free beanie! Who can resist free gifts anyway?! And it was made in Germany too....or was it France? Whatever it was, it
meant it was IMPORTED! Now that's something isn't it. And it came in a little nice bag too - you know the types where you could
open and close, sort of like a zip but without the teeth? Not bad eh?

Unfortunately, the beanie looked a little small, but I suppose it would stretch. Other than that, I had been looking at BOSS and Versace suits. All costs thousands of dollars per suit. HAHAHA They look good, and feel nice to the touch. Won't be needing them yet :p

I didn't get anything of course. Headed on home after that. Had Vietnamese food for dinner at Victoria Street. Well, it was a Vietnamese restaurant. The bill came up to about $ 100+ again for the 7 of us.

************************************************************

Monday, 29th April

Decided to go look for Ben. He hasn't called yet. Also had to get my groceries. I normally go on Sunday but obviously, I couldn't. Ben wasn't in. Seems he's busy moving house and got the next few days off. Left a message with Will Cordova ( I remember his name ) who will let Ben know when he comes back to work on Wednesday.

Dinner was with Uncle Patrick and family as well. There were 12 of us all together. Ate at Strictly Thai down the street. Everything was extra sweet. BBQ pork was. The curry wasn't too bad either. Bill came up to about $ 300+. Aunt Lena was saying it was quite expensive and it wasn't worth it. Still, the food wasn't too bad.

Came back home after that.

************************************************************

As you can see, nothing much happened. The high's for both days were FREE MEALS! Yay!

Today - thought I was supposed to go to see Lily about the application but when I called her, she said to go in any time tomorrow. Guess I'll have to go into the bank to withdraw some money. Don't think I'll pay her the full amount just yet.

Wonder if my old passport photos will do? Don't feel like taking photos. I hate taking photos. Something always happens and I'm not happy with the results. If I have to take new photos, I might have to go for a haircut! Damn. Might as well, PF is coming to Melbourne on Thursday. I might meet her on Sunday, if not earlier.

Tonight is WWF night again. Watched RAW earlier tonight. They invited me for dinner but I politely declined. Don't want them to think I'm taking advantage of the free meals. Would I do that?! :p

Came online after that...chatted with ST, MB, MT and some other people *waves hi if you're reading this*. Ahh...I called MB the other day. Had a really good time "talking" to her. Hehehehehe ... sorry folks but this is for me to know only~ ;) *winks*

So far .... no mention of the GameCube..... You think I'd let you all off that easy? Come on! Actually, I've considered putting a things to buy list - removing those that I've gotten. Sounds like a good idea.

************************************************************
Things To Get:

1) Nintendo GameCube
- Resident Evil
- Super Smash Brothers Melee
- Star Wars: Rogue Leader (maybe)
- WWF Wrestlemania X8 (maybe)
2) Final Fantasy X for PS2
3) New fragrance ( I have considered Davidoff "Cool Water" and Hugo "Dark Blue" before )
4) New wallet
5) Jamiroquai - A Funk Odyssey CD
6) All Saints CD (can't remember the title)
7) $ 150 from DT

************************************************************

I've still yet to go look at the GameCube bundles. Read forum reports that you can get it for $ 199 if you trade in an old PS or a N64.
Too bad I have neither of those.

Countdown (according to Nintendo.com.au) - 15 days 22 hours 10 mins 20 secs to GameCube's Australian Launch.

I still want a GameCube badly. Gamespot reviewed Resident Evil and gave it 8.9. Doesn't sound too bad now, does it? Must get it! Too bad its only expected to launch in September.

Yes, DT paid me back $ 100 today. He still owes me $ 150. And he's already reminding me to pay next month's rent to KE. What the fuck.....!?!?! As if I'm going to run away without paying my rent!!!!

I just remembered something. My "akak" mentioned my site in her webpage. She had nothing but good things to say about this online journal. Whoopee! Thanks, akak!

Her site is at: http://www.motionk.com/sr/web/personal.htm

Well, that's the direct link to her mentioning my blogs. This is the main page although if you know how to navigate webpages, it wouldn't have been a problem in the first place!

http://www.motionk.com/sr/web/default.htm

This is it. I'm off. Stay tuned.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day: 133 (Sunday, 28th April 2002)
Status: On call
Days without PS2: 21 days (I'm just giving an estimate here)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I touched my PS2 controller and games yesterday. So, the number above stays unchanged until I actually turn it on, place a game in and start playing.

DT,KE and I met BY in the city outside Melbourne. We headed down to Chinatown for lunch. All of us couldn't decide what to have and it was finally decided that we go to Hill's. Had pork chop in tomato sauce with rice. Didn't know what else to have. Their specialities are duck rice and their Hong Kong-style char siew doesn't really appeal to me. Prefer the Malaysian char siew so much more. I think all of us couldn't finish our lunches. Either the portion was too big or we just weren't hungry yet.

BY wanted to look for some F1 stuff but we couldn't find the shop so we left for home. He said he wanted to see where we lived and check the place out. Just chatting then he asked what we normally did during our free time. Then I told him about the PS2. Even took out the games, bu the didn't want to play. Guess he got enough of it when he was in Japan with BS for more than a month. Anyway, we ended up playing Chor Tai Dee. DT offered to send BY to the city when he and ML were going out. They were going to the Nike Factory Outlet and asked me to go along. I thought it would be better to stay home, since I might end up buying stuff there. Sometimes, I just don't have the willpower. I can't resist coming across something I like, and then end up thinking if I should buy it.

Did you see me mention Toys R Us or the price of GameCube anywhere in the paragraphs above? No? That's because I did not get to go there. As I mentioned, we came home right after lunch. But what a ride home in the tram it was. It's now time for....

**********************************************************************
Today's High:

The 4 of us were in the tram, on the way home where we stopped at one of the tram stops. At first, we didn't think anything of it. Just the usual people getting on and off the tram. We were just opposite one of the stadiums and I assume they were having a match today. I noticed some police directing traffic. I assumed it was because of the game. On the way, we heard a police car speeding off, overtaking the tram and traffic. I didn't think much of it.

I looked around while the tram was at a stand-still and noticed 2 police walking in, through the middle of the tram. The male officer was on his radio, still joking with one of the passengers. OK, nothing unusual. After that, the rear doors opened and another 3 officers came aboard. Then the doors on the right side of the tram opened and about 4 more officers came in. Now, those of you who've been in Melbourne trams should know that doors on the right-side of the tram hardly ever opens while on route to their respective destinations as all stops are on the left side of the tram. There were about 10 policemen and women in the tram altogether. One that walked past me had his hand on a can of pepper-spray hanging from his belt. I was watching this whole scene happening in front of me along with the rest of the passengers. They approaced a guy in a light yellow jumper and one of them said "Sir, can you please step off the tram" and proceeded to surround him. I heard the man mumble "What did I do wrong ?" before the reply from the police saying " Nothing sir, just come with us". With that, they escorted him out of the tram and into the back of a police car.

Hrmmm... I have no idea what happened. But it was like an action movie! Good thing it didn't turn ugly.

**********************************************************************

Well, so that's the most interesting thing that happened today. And who would have thought such a thing would happen? Certainly not me.

Guess I'll have to go look for the GameCube prices some other time. Tell me something....are you bored of me talking about the damned Cube yet? Tell me if you want me to stop.

Countdown (according to Nintendo.com.au) - 18 days 21 hours 24 mins 15 secs to GameCube's Australian Launch.

Other than that, nothing much else to mention other than the fact its WWF Smackdown day so I watched that last night. Had sandwiches and a quarter of a quiche lorraine for dinner (do you see some sort of pattern forming here?). Chris Jericho had a match with Triple H to determine Number 1 contender for the WWF title against Hollywood Hulk Hogan on next week's Smackdown. Jericho won with the help of Undertaker intefering in the match.

Well, this is enough for tonight. Getting sleepy.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day: 132 (Saturday, 27th April 2002)
Status: On call
Days without PS2: 20 days (I'm just giving an estimate here)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's 2.15 am. I couldn't sleep. Don't know why. All I can think about is the damned GameCube. I want it so badly, so much that I can't even get some sleep! I think I'll go check out the package deals at Toys R Us one of these days. Some pretty good bargains if you ask me. What's more, I think I can pay it off in installments! Great! Will have to check it out and see. Maybe tomorrow. Toys R Us, here I come and I swear if you let me pick another game instead of bloody WaveRace, you'll get my $ 50 deposit ( I think ). Tempt me further with your Play-by (installment) methods, you'll have yourself a new customer.

BY called today around 10.30 pm. Well, yesterday. Going to meet him in the city later at around noon, outside Nike. He said that's the only place he knows. Alright. Got to pass him the Graduation photos, the Metal Gear Solid 2 t-shirt and the Final Fantasy VI game. Hope I won't forget. He's leaving on Sunday.

Nothing really happened today. Well, I guess I shouldn't say that. No calls from Lim which meant I had the day off. No work = no money and no money = no honey. What the hell am I going on about?! And the last time I checked, AL hasn't called either. Great, just great.

Went to McD's to look for Ben and to get dinner as well. Thought I could kill 2 birds with one stone. He wasn't in but hey, at least I got my dinner. Large Quarter Pounder Meal with a chocolate SUPER sundae. Did I mentioned I tried the Tandoori Chicken Burger the other day? Wasn't too bad. Quite tasty. Wanted to get the vegetarian curry puffs but they sounded really tiny. "Bite-sized puffs filled with curriedi vegetables" or something like that on the poster. $ 1.25 for 4 pieces and an extra $ 0.30 for mint yoghurt sauce! It's daylight robbery! I bet I can pop all 4 in my mouth and have space for a bite of a burger! Damn, I'm feeling abit hungry now.

I watched "The Story of Us" for a second time a couple of days ago. The movie starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Bruce Willis. Michelle looks good :)
In the movie, Bruce Willis' character comes up with a game called "High-Low". Basically, he asks his wife (Michelle) and his kids the highs and lows of each day. I think I might incorporate that to my journal updates.

**********************************************************************
Today's High:

I got a couple of photos from some net friends today. Its interesting to be able to see how they look like.

First off, I'd like to say hi to my new friend, J from Texas, USA. She's requested that her name isn't to be mentioned in my journals and I've promised her that. She says she's an extremely private person and guards her privacy. Not a problem, J. *winks*

Next, we also have J (another one?!) from Singapore. Daph spoke to her once on IRC, she might remember. She was studying in New York and she's back in Singapore now.

Edit: I've decided to call them by initials, so J from USA will be now known as JS and the other one will be known as JL.

**********************************************************************

Come to think of it, I think I seriously have some problem with my head and this GameCube obsession. Had a conversation with a friend, AW, online and it went something like this. AW is someone who's in San Francisco, USA now...working as a web designer, from Sarawak. She's really smart and really cute as well. Too bad guys, she's not available. She's one of the people who treats me like a little brother.

Me: A, I think I wanna get a GameCube...
AW: Why GC? Not X-box or PS2?
Me: I already have a PS2. I thought you knew....?
AW: I don't stay with you, how I know?
Me: Oh, now you know lor. I want it for Resident Evil.
AW: PS2 don't have meh?
Me: Got but Nintendo has the rights for the future RE games.
AW: You siao ah you? Save money better...don't simply spend. Next time sure come out for PS2.

Perhaps she's right....but hell, when I want something, I usually get it. Never had I lost sleep over a bloody console before, not even with my PS2.

Countdown (according to Nintendo.com.au) - 19 days 19 hours 48 mins 40 secs to GameCube's Australian Launch.

Some of you might remember reading, about the password that I've had with S (who will now be known as ST). JS mentioned it and said it was "intriguing". So did another friend who read the journal last night, S (another one! I think I need to start coming up with initials before I get myself confused!). In fact, S mentioned she was hooked to my journal. She ended up ignoring me to read my journal! What the... ?! Well, that's a little exaggerating, she did apologise and said she was hooked to it and I said it was a compliment and I was fine with it.

I tried calling SW tonight, after telling her that I called ST (everyone wants a piece of me now! hahaha) but I just found out that Telstra Mobile isn't able to connect to Digi (016) back in M'sia! I tried calling P and AL (another one) who were using Maxis (012) and it worked just fine! Well - now we know. No Telstra to Digi calls.

Just to update all of you, SW is my "kakak" (big sister) who's in Sabah. She does web pages professionally. Anyway, if you need webpages done for anyreason, send me an email and I can help hook-up.

She helped me re-do my resume and I mean completely reformatted my resume. So nice of her. Thanks akak! * huggy huggy* .
Also, akak, if you're reading this, I think you'd have gotten my e-mails already. Sorry I couldn't call you on Friday night ( 26th April 2002 ) at 9pm M'sia time as promised. Refer to above paragraph for reason.

OK - I think that's enough for the night. I hope I haven't forgotten to mention anyone. Besides, there'll be other updates. No worries. This is it. Good night, world....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day: 130 (Thursday, 25th April 2002)
Status: On call
Days without PS2: 18 days (I'm just giving an estimate here)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was raining almost the whole day. Slept about 4.30 am this morning. Got up around 10.30 am, then went back to sleep again. Woke up around 2 pm after that. It was still raining!

No calls from Ben, nor from BY yet. None from Lim as well. Guess I won't be working this week unless he gives me a call tomorrow morning/afternoon. How time flies, it's already Thursday night. Speaking of calls, AL hasn't even called me yet! And I have no way to reach her. She better have a good explanation for this.

Spent most of my time online today. Chatting with S, PF and some other people as well. Managed to catch up with Sylvia today. Long time since I last talked to her. She said that this journal amuses her. S said some nice things about it as well. So did KL. Good to know that my efforts are appreciated. Don't forget to check back for updates!

I also managed to chat with Vivian today. Long time since I last heard from her. She's back in Johor now on holidays. Maybe I'll get to catch up with her soon, one of these days.

Guess what I did today? I cleaned my keyboard! Yes I did! You won't believe the crap that gets trapped beneath the keys. I had to pry the keys out to clean up the crap with a few cotton buds. Let's have a closer look at what I found in there shall we? I know know that using a vacuum to suck up all the dust and dirt is not enough.

- dust (but of course)
- some nails that I cut obviously became instant flying missles and landed in between the keys
- hair (maybe it was during the stressful periods, making sure assignments were completed before the deadline? *shrugs*)
- crumbs (I know they're crumbs because they tasted cheesy and were an orange sunset yellow colour. I got you there didn't I? Just
making sure you were paying attention! Of course I wouldn't eat them! What the f... do you think I am?! It's probably the nacho
cheese corn chips and/or Twisties that I sometimes buy)

Yes folks. Remember to take time to clean up what might be trapped between your keyboard keys. A vacuum isn't enough and it wasn't any of those shitty hand-held vacuums. It was one of the big ones you use to vacuum your floors with.

I'm bored. Don't know what to do. Been reading forum news as well as reviews over and over and over again. YES, I still want my GameCube.

Countdown (according to Nintendo.com.au) - 21 days 1 hours 38 mins 15 secs to GameCube's Australian Launch.

Little bro,R, asked me to get Super Smash Brothers Melee. That's coming out 31st May 2002. Reviews for Star Wars: Rogue Leader seem to be pretty good as well. All talking about how good the graphics are. From the looks of things, I might be able to afford a Cube after all. Well, just read on for more updates. If I do get a Cube, rest assured, you'll read it here.

Been neglecting my baby (PS2) for about 3 weeks now. Maybe I should turn it on for a couple of hours one of these days. I paid good money for her. Don't know why but I just feel like playing Metal Gear Solid 2 again. Maybe within the next few days.

X-entertainment has been updated. Nothing interesting thisi time. A bloody old horror movie starring William Shatner which I never heard of. Must be one of those low-budget ones called "Kingdom of the Spiders" or something like that. The other article is about him and his Pokemon,Bulbasaur and how he wanted to make him bigger/evolve. Matt really has too much free time on his hands.

Had KFC for dinner again. This time, I had a regular popcorn chicken combo with an upsize and also a Caesar Twister. Damn, I'm a pig!

Nothing much to add to today's update. Maybe its still early. Damn it. I think I missed " Sex In the City " which was showing at 9 pm.
I guess I'll stop here for now.

**********************************************************************
WARNING:

To Ryan Eng, please remember not to pick up any of the bad words that you see here on this site. It's bad for you. Promise me that, OK?

Love, Kor
**********************************************************************

I'm bored. I don't know what to do. The DU Meter had a pop-up warning indicating my daily downloads have exceeded 100 MBs. I'm trying to reduce the amount of time I spend online.

It has been a boring day. Was expecing Ben to give me a call to tell me about the job status. Maybe he hasn't called Lily yet. Guess I shouldn't be too worried at the moment.

Spent most of the day online. Slept around 4 am this morning. Got up at about 10.30 am then went back to sleep again.

I finally heard S's voice today for the first time today. S is someone whom I've known for quite sometime now. I can't remember exactly how long, at least a year I would say.

I was chatting with her on mIRC and then I was just telling her how bored I was. She was spent her time pretending to be a guy and was chatting up this married woman. Then I teased her and said " S, have you been lying to me too? Are you really a guy? ". She laughed it off but then I said I must find some way to make her prove it. I said I would give her a call just to make sure she's a woman and also because I was extremely bored at the time.

Tried to call her mobile but I couldn't get through. Either got into her voice box or got the message saying her phone number was unavailable. I must have tried calling her about 5 to 6 times. Telling her to turn off her mobile and turn it back on again. And it was a new phone as her previous one was lost/stolen! Was chatting with her in mIRC then I asked if she had some other phone number. She gave me her office number. I tried calling the office number after some time and she picked up the phone.

Me : Hello, can I speak to S please?
S : Roy!!!! I'm really a girl lah......
Me : Hmm ... ok... What's the password then?
S : The password? Fuck me.........ROY! hahahahahaha ( I noticed how she paused awhile before she mentioned my name )
Me : *ooh..nice...she said it with feeling * Hahahaha.....OK, it really is you.
S : Roy, you have a cute voice...
Me: *awww shucks* Really? You sound nice too. Wasn't what I expected.
S: What were you expecting?
Me: I was expecting a more chinese-voice.
S : Ah-Lian voice you mean?
Me : Yeah...something like that.
S : You really that bored meh?
Me : Yeah lor...so "cham"....dunno what to do.

We had a 2 minute and 53 second long conversation before I told her I'd continue chatting on IRC. She replied saying " OK - don't waste money." and we hung up, continued with our conversation online.

You might wonder about the password thing. So here is the explanation. Once upon a time, one of her colleagues used her computer and logged into IRC. I had a chat with the colleague and I noticed that she "style" she chatted was different that usual. I had a talked with S the next day ( I think ) and she laughed saying it was her colleague who was trying to trick me. I wasn't that stupid! So I came up with the plan. I told S I was going to give her a password and everytime we chat, I'd ask her for the password, just to validate her identity. So I told her, " S, next time whenever I chat with you, I'll ask for your password. And your password is " Fuck me, Roy ". She was fine with it. Besides, I did it for cheap thrills. It was fun to see it on-screen, even better to hear it over the phone. So there you have it, my explanation about the password bit.

The other thing that surprised me was how good her English was. Chatting with her online, I assumed that she would sound like an Ah-Lian as she called it. I thought, maybe some slight broken English but NO. Fantastic. *winks*

She also mentioned how she know understands why so many girls would enjoy phone sex with me because of my "cute voice".
* NOTE To D and Daf - Forget about this statement I just made. You don't have to know the details. I'm your older brother, no need to explain to you. *

Now, back to the phone conversation. She mentioned that my voice was cute on the phone, and also when we continued chatting online. With compliments like that, I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. Hahahaha

The days get dark around 6.30 pm now. It's been raining since earlier this evening and it's 10.39 pm.

Mary and Michelle are here. Guess its because of the long weekend with ANZAC Day coming up. DT,Marg, M & M are not in now. They might have gone for dinner somewhere and are not back yet. Doesn't bother me.

I went across the street to get dinner, it was drizzling. KFC again. Was planning on the popcorn chicken but hey....what have we here? They have something new on the menu. Caesar Twister. It comes with parmesan cheese, croutons ( like cubes of toasted bread, normally used in soups ) and a caesar dressing. I got the combo meal with an upsize ( AS USUAL ). It was alright - kinda tasty. Not too bad at all.

My feelings have not changed. I still want a Nintendo GameCube. So badly. I really do.

Countdown (according to Nintendo.com.au) - 22 days 0 hours 9 mins 15 secs to GameCube's Australian Launch.

OK - managed to get the links working now. No problems. Be sure to check them out. But hey, after reading all my bullshit, I don't think you need ( WANT ) to read anything more! * winks *
OK - another update. This is a rarity.....

There seem to be problems loading the page after I added the extra links to the code. The load was slow. Might have to remove them after all.

Sorry readers. No links I guess. Will try them again some other time.
Oh my god.

I just realised something. There are no alternate colours for the links on the left of the page. Links are blue in default colours, orange when I click on them.

There I was going on and on about how to get them in alternate colours because being the perfectionist at certain things that I am, I wanted a standard look for them. Wasted all my bloody time trying to get them right the other day. SHIT. SHIT SHIT SHIT.

Ahhhh...got to cleanse my internal system. Swearing helps. OK.

Guess I'll add in more links now. Feel free to have a look at them.

Another 3 days has gone bye. Dei asked me if I've updated my journal last night. Here's the update now. To all of you readers who've been eagerly anticipating my next entry, well - let's just say I'm doing it on a regular basis. Doesn't mean it will be a daily basis though.

**********************************************************************
Sunday, 21st April 2002 -

As far as I remember, nothing much of interest happened that I can recall. Was supposed to meet BY who's here in Melbourne for holidays but he went off to Sydney at the last minute. Most probably meeting him tomorrow ( 24th April 2002 ). Need to pass him some things to bring home to mum and dad.

Like I said, nothing much to mention. I probably spent most of my time either in front of pc chatting and/or in front of the tv.

**********************************************************************

Monday, 24th April 2002

I must admit I'm really bad with numbers and dates. I just checked the calender to see what date today was to fill in for the journal entry above, and here I had to check it again for a 2nd time because I needed to fill the date in for this one. Damn.

Monday ... had lots to do on Monday. Left the house about 11 am. First stop was supposed to be Spillers Pharmacy just along Cotham Road. Had to get my montly medication because it had run out. Spent AUS $ 72.90 for 2 different pills. Thank god for Medibank. Stopped by at the newsagent before that to check out the latest magazines. Can't afford them now I suppose. Video game mags cost between AUS $ 10 - $ 15 each. Saw the latest Ralph and FHM magazines. One of the actresses from Crash Palace was on FHM's cover "Tori Mussett" * don't know how her name is spelt *. And Ralph came with a little booklet which has the " World's Sexiest Women ". Glancing at the list, I saw a few familiar names like Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Britney Spears ( I think ). Went across the road to go into the pharmacy but stopped by the corner restaurant. Marg told me they were looking for kitchen help. Don't see a notice, guess they hired someone else.

Waited for the tram 109 to stop by Melbourne Pathology next. Even though the new 109s look flashy, modern and comfy, the air-con is pathetic! I'd rather take one of the older trams and have the cool air blowing in my face. I got off the stop just outside MP. How nice, located just beside the Porsche showroom. I walked over to the fence to ogle at the beautiful cars. Some dude was spraying the cars with water, I'm assuming he has the tasks of keeping the cars bright and shiny. He greeted me and I did the same. Saw the latest model 911 Turbos. The black one looks good as all things black should look. Couldn't see the price tag for that one. The red one had a price tag that screamed "CHEAP"!!!! ONLY AUS $ 299,999. So much cheaper than back home in Malaysia. I think you'd get one of these for around RM 1 million back home. Enough of ogling, it hurts when you can't have something that you want. Life doesn't work that way, life isn't fair. Maybe one day in future, I'll own one of these black beauties. Porsche 911 Turbo. *sighs*

Popped into MP and there was someone else in line. Waited for my turn and asked the old lady/receptionist if I could make cash payments. No problems. Paid AUS $ 58.50, got my change and I was off. Next stop, city.

Tram 109 stops at the corner of Collins and Swanston Sts. Got off and made a quick call to Lily's office. The receptionist said she wasn't in and told me to call her mobile which I did. Lily asked what time I could see her, I said anytime since I was already in the city. She told me to be at her office at 12 pm, which gave me half an hour. I started walking up along Swanston St. towards Lonsdale St. I stopped by at Foot Locker. Damn, they have the grey and flouroscent green Air Max 95s back on sale! AUS $ 229.95. I was looking for a pair of these when I got here but they didn't sell them then. The salesperson ( young kid ) noticed me looking at them and asked me if I liked them. Told him the story about how I was looking for a pair when I first got to Melbourne. He said they are selling like hot-cakes. I believe him, they look good. Damn, I want a pair too. I thanked him and was off again.

It was going to be a long walk to Lily's office and there are no trams along Lonsdale St. I took a tram from a stop on Swanston and then got off at the corner of Swanston and Lonsdale Sts. Had to start walking now. Along the way, I stopped at a bike shop and looked at the bicycles on display. They are selling Kona Mountain bikes. I think the cheapest was about AUS $ 1300. Some were about AUS $ 2300. I think most of them come with front suspensions now.

Arrived at Lily's office about 5 mins after 12 pm and the receptionist said she won't be long. I waited about 5 - 10 mins and then went to the toilet for awhile. When I came out, Lily was at the front desk. Went in talked to her abit. To shut her up about asking for money, I told her a little about the situation back home. Who knows, with the act I pulled off ( sad voice ), I think I can be a contender for the Best Actor Oscar! She finally said, it's ok but she doesn't want to waste time, I can pay her about AUS $ 2500 at first so she can launch the PR application. I told her I'll get back to her the latest by the end of next week. Passed her my passport and she said she'll send it off to Adelaide. She reconfirmed that Dr. Radford wrote me a good report which is a good thing for me and my application.

After that, I stopped at JB Hi-Fi and had a look at some CDs. Their sales seem to be never-ending. Jamiroquai's " A Funk Odyssey " was selling for AUS $ 21.47 or thereabouts. I saw the latest All Saints album for only AUS $ 9.99!!!! It's a bargain and I was so tempted! Why $ 9.99 ?!?! The first album is still selling for $ 25.99 !!! How long will the offer last? I guess I only like Pure Shores and Black Coffee from their 2nd album. There are a few remixes in there. Would $ 9.99 be worth it? It's damn cheap for a full album. Damn, so many things I want.

Went in to Medibank to claim some of my money I spent on the medication that morning as well as the fees to Melbourne Pathology. Yay! I have money in my wallet again! More than $ 100 in claims. I left the house with only $ 25 in my wallet!

Next stop was Pulsar Computers. Had a few goes on the demo Xbox and Gamecube. Some PS2 games are going quite cheap. Damn again! They seem to be renting out games as well as DVDs now. The black Cube looks really, really good. And it was just the damn box I was looking at! Must've been there for about an hour. Stopped by Melbourne Central foodcourt for lunch. Went to Trios to get a Gourmet Sausage meal combo. Had the spicy lamb sausage but nothing special about it. The fries were plain as well. I think KFC's got the best fries. Should've gone with my first choice which was the lamb kebab from the other store.

Remembered Ryan's request to check out that Lego Bionicles in a box. Couldn't find the one that he wanted. Looked at some Spiderman toys as well as other action figures as well. There doesn't seem to be much choice in this one. Went to look at the Video games next. The place was quiet, no many people around. Must've all been at work/classes. Tested out the Cube and Xbox ( AGAIN! ). They have packaged deals for the Cube! $ 499 for a Cube with a memory card, Luigi's Mansion, a strategy guide and $ 50 worth of vouchers. The other one is $ 599 for a Cube, a 2nd controller, a memory card, Luigi's Mansion AND Wave Race, a strategy guide and $ 50 worth of vouchers. Only $ 100 extra for a game and a 2nd controller! How cool is that?!?!? DAMN I want a Cube. But I don't really seem to have interest in Luigi's Mansion nor Wave Race. I wonder if we can switch the games? And then what did I notice? They have their version of lay-by which they call "Play-by" *smart *.
Pay $ 50, collect the stuff at launch, pay the rest in 3 equal monthly installments * I think *. I didn't ask them about it. Was already so tempted just by looking at the price, if I heard how good the deal was personally, I might have put down my $ 50 deposit there and then! DAMN I WANT A GAMECUBE BADLY!!!!!

After that, I crossed Lonsdale St and went into Myer. Damn, they are still having the CD sale. $ 20 for the latest release CDs. Made me think about the Jamiroquai CD again * here we go again readers! *. Stopped looking and went upstairs to the video games section ( as usual ). Took a list of the launch games coming out for the Cube. Nothing particularly interesting at the moment, Super Smash Brothers Melee is coming out end of May. That's what I want at the moment if I was to get a Cube. DAMN, I want a Cube so badly. The MAIN REASON being Resident Evil ! Checked out the Xbox as well. Then headed off to the PS2 section. New games on demo. Saw that the big screen had NBA Street on. Looked at the guy. Hey! It's not the guy who hogged ICO the past 2 times I was there!!!!Tried out WRC ( World Rally Championship ). Then got a chance to try NBA Street as well. I got to use Michael Jordan, Shaquille O' Neal and Kobe Bryant! I kicked the computer's ass in that game! Yeah! Maximo was playing the in unit beside me. I also noticed four idiots playing Fusion Frenzy on the big screen of the Xbox demo. Damn idiots were making a damn lot of noise shouting and screaming. " What? Trying to act cool ah? Damn fools....Wanna shout and scream, go do it at home", I was thinking to myself. Thank god they left after sometime. I only realised when it was all quiet. Checked out the PS2 games rack. What have we here? Tekken Tag Tournament is now on sale at the Platinum Price of $ 49.99!!!! Damn. So tempted - cheap price without the ugly silver casing. Dunno if I should save the money instead of getting a cheap old game, for something else....like a Nintendo Gamecube!!!!

After a few games on NBA Street. I decided to leave before rush hour when people get off from work. It was past 4 pm. It was a long and tiring day. Been out for about 5 - 6 hours. I can't remember but I think I walked all the way to Bourke St. Then hopped on a tram to Flinders St.

When I got home, I logged on the pc went online into the Sony forums and what did I see? A topic that screams "Nintendo Gamecube Pricedrop". Rumour was flying around the net that Nintendo is reducing the launch price of the Cube from $ 399 to $ 329. DAMN, WHAT BETTER REASON TO GET A CUBE?!?! I WANT A CUBE NOW! It was just rumours, nothing official. Later, it BECAME official. A big ad on the homepage of www.nintendo.com.au. The CUBE is now launching at $ 329. DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! I really, really, really want a Gamecube badly.

The usual routine after that, chat with PF,Fifi,Sharon,Mel,Rachel,Gen, Dei and Daf. Off to bed at about a little past 2 am.

Tuesday, 23rd April 2002.

Again I had to check the calender. Geezus what's wrong with me?!?!?!

Was online awhile before I went out. Stopped by the Real Estate office just to see if they had catalogues. Managed to get a list of property rentals instead. Going rate for 1 room apartments is about $ 150/week in Kew with a deposit of about $ 600 - $ 700. DT has been boasting to friends that this place isn't big enough. Have to sell and get a bigger house. Overheard DT and Marg talking about property lately, dunno for whom. I must plan for the future too. If they decide to sell this house and move and I'm still stuck working at McD's, I need to find a place nearby so that I can get to work with no problems. Especially if I need to work the 5.30 am shifts. I don't have a car - how would I get to work then? It probably is a long way off before that happens, but still, better make some preperations myself. Checking out the prices is a start.

Had to go to the post office to collect a parcel. Yes, both sets of graduation photos are with me now. The collection slip was dated 18th April. I think DT picked it up the other day and forgotten about. Some people were doing some wiring in front of the letterboxes and the sidewalk. Maybe this parcel was actually sitting in the post office for days now. Anyway, have to pass them to BY if possible when I meet him. I think I'll also pop in the FF6 PS game as well as the MGS2 t-shirt for Ryan. The t-shirt doesn't even fit me! Feel cheated by Sony Australia. Limited Edition T-shirt my ass.....it's made in China! And the wait I had to endure waiting for the game to arrive last month! Not worth the extra $ 10 I had to pay ordering online. I could have gotten it cheaper, and faster from the shops I think. Anyway, I hope the shirt fits Ryan. Everything's in a Footlocker plastic bag now. It's all good I think.

Ben from McD's hasn't called yet. Guess within the next few days. No calls from Lim either. Might not need to work this week. Who knows, I might get a call later or something. Will see how it goes.

DT and Marg should be going out later tonight to some IBO talk. Independent Business Owner talk. He asked me if I'm interested. It's like direct selling. Can make money buy introducing people to shop online. Those who are interested, just have a look at the following link: www.a2k.com.au

Don't think I'll be going. Not feeling well today. I think I drank too much water last night to wash down the damn corn chips. I promised myself that this will be the last time I'm buying junk food. Got PF to remind me not to buy junk as well. Need to learn to budget.

Anyway, the other reason that I won't be going, WWF RAW is on tonight. Hollywood Hulk Hogan the new Undisputed Champion! Triple H lost to him!

Thinking about my expenses. How am I going to feed my need for games. Maybe I shouldn't buy games when they're launched now. Wait for people to trade them in at EB, wait for sales or get them 2nd hand. No news from Tysen about the ICO. I wonder if he's pissed off. I wanted to get it from him for $ 50 but he didn't reply. I told him to sell it off if he had better offers. Maybe he has. Nothing to worry about I guess.

DAMN, Final Fantasy X comes out 31st May 2002. Same day Super Smash Bros. Melee launches. Some people in the forum are so lucky. " May is going to be a good but expensive month " or " I won't be able to decide which to play first,SSBM or FFX ". Damn you CreamyGoodness. Also damn you PrOn. Bloody idiot...acting like a smart-assed-know-it-all. " I'm a console collector. I collect every console that comes out". Goddamnit, how do these people afford them all ?!?!?!?! I'm so jealous. And I've just commited one of the 7 deadly sins. ENVY.

I'm going off. Nothing much else to talk about. More to come ......

Did I mention that I want a Black GameCube really, really, really badly?

Status: On call

" When I come, I come like the thunder " - Quote by Martin Lawrence's character from the movie "Bad Boys"

It's been about 3 days since my last update. The quote above would really be applicable in this case. Observant readers will realise how I was saying the past week was boring etc. Everything took a change in direction on Thursday night. Let's recap shall we? Grab yourself some snacks and a drink or two - this could be long *winks*.

Ready? Here we go .....

Thursday, 18th April 2002 -

Lily called me and told me that she received news that I've just gotten a Class A Graduate Visa. Whatever the hell that means. All I know is that I'll be able to work now and remain for a further 6 months in Australia. She told me to see her on Monday so that she can send my passport off to Adelaide to get it stamped. OK. She also mentioned she got Dr.Radford's report which is a good report so good news as well. Sent off a message to my sisters to inform them about the "good news".

I was doing nothing, in front of the computer, reading forum posts when I received a call from a number with no ID. Answering the phone, I was greeted by Lim, who asked me if I could go to work. Sure, I had nothing to do, no one turns down money now do they? I said I can make so he told me to go to work but not at Shakahari but Madam Fang's in the city in a small lane along Bourke Street. After some directions, I proceeded to get ready to go to work.

It was hard work for AUS $ 55. Being a dishwasher is not easy. Had to stand up the entire time, rinsing the dishes etc and popping them into a dishwasher (steam) after that to sterilise them. Mr. Ma was there with 2 Thai cooks in the kitchen with me. There were 2 Malaysian waitresses and a Thai waiter (who was also feminine-like. Why is it I've met 3 waiters in 2 places that I've worked in are like this?). Work was alright, I did what I had to do, learning along the way. No one bullied me and they taught me the right way of doing things when I did something wrong. I finished up around 11.30 pm. Just in time to rush to the tram stop to catch the last few trams for the night.

Along Swanston Street, a man approached me for some a few dollars. I apologised to him and said I didn't have any. Further up the street, another younger man approached me. I thought he was in a drunken state cause he headed straight for me. I continued walking then he pressed himself against the left side of me asking me to spare him $ 0.80.

Man: Can you spare me 80 cents?
Me: I'm sorry I don't have any change
Man: Can you spare me 80 cents? Just 80 cents?
Me: *You fucktard, I hate people in my face!* Sorry, I don't have $ 0.80 *continues walking - almost at Flinders St!*

Now you must know that I was walking the entire time this little conversation took place. I noticed he had a group of friends sitting on the tables outside KFC/McD's at the time. Thoughts raced through my mind. " What if the whole group of them starts following me and it turns into a fight? ".

Suddenly I feel my leg ramming into the guy's leg as he suddenly spins 180 degrees to walk away from me. I can swear that the fucktard attempted to trip me to the ground. Being the big, macho guy I am *ahem*, my strides probably just rammed his leg aside and I continued off. I waited for the tram and I was home about 25 minutes later. Went online awhile and couldn't sleep the rest of the night.

Observation of the day:
I saw a guy on the tram who looks abit like Bruce Lee. Hrrrmmmm....

Friday, 19th April 2002 -

Observation of the day:
I pulled out no less than 10 white hairs in the shower today.

Realised that I might be having a cold. Same routine as how it has been the last few months, wake up, turn on the pc, go to the toilet, come back and plop myself in front of the pc, pop in a couple of pills, continue typing away at keyboard. Since I wake up around 11.30 am or later these days. I didn't have much time and it was soon it was time to get ready to go to work.

Received an SMS from PF. She was out shopping again! The thing that kinda got my attention was that she dreamt the night before and my name was mentioned. Now this I gotta hear! I gave her a call and had a short chat with her. She told me about the dream and said that I called her ( in the dream ) and I told her " I was downstairs now ". I assume it was at her home or something but when she got downstairs, she saw her coursemate. Bummer.... still, we both agreed it was a weird dream. She had to finish her lunch and I had to get ready for work.

I made up my mind to stop by at McDonald's to see Ben, the manager who interviewed me to see if I can work out something. Ordered a lunch, LARGE Quarter Pounder meal with a chocolate SUPER sundae. Tough luck, Ben wasn't around so I had to leave him a note to call me.

Caught a tram to work after lunch. Was greeted by the manager ( whose name I cannot remember to this date ) and met Madam Ma in the kitchen. Lim was already there.Changed into my apron and got ready for the tasks to be done that night. She told me to prepare 15 servings of Satay which is equivalent to about 60 sticks. Not long after that, Brian and Ken arrived. It was off to work then.
I noticed Brian works fast and he helped me with some of the satay. I have now learnt the art to making satay faster. The trick is to grab a few of the same ingredients each time. I used to do it one by one. No wonder Brian seemed agitated I was working slow! hahaha

Ken cooked us some spicy laksa thinggie for dinner. Told us it would be busy and we should eat when we had the chance. It was a busy night, there were times when orders came in and we had to wait for Carl to finish washing them. Certainly can't compare it to the other days but it was certainly more busy than the first Friday night I was there.

Might not have to go to work next week. Talked to Lim and said there might be a new guy working. He probably needs training too, assuming he's new like me. He said he will give me a call early next week to confirm.

Somehow I prefer working at Shakahari, its more interesting. Seems to be easier work too. We finished off about 10 pm. Took some time to get the kitchen cleaned up. Had to help with some dishwashing and then stacking them back where they should be. Was paid $ 78 for the nights work. Nothing happened on the way to the tram stop, thank god. Was standing on the tram for some time but my feet were tired so I just sat on the steps.

Got home and noticed no dogs barking. D,M and the dogs haven't been home since last night. I wonder where they are.

Got mail from back home. Bad news. Sorry readers, some things I'll keep to myself until I feel the time is right to let it out. Came online, chatted awhile on IRC to M and S. Also talked to PF awhile, all of them told me not to think so much. Told me to get some rest. Thanks for the support guys : )

I sense cloudy days ahead. I can't be sure but it doesn't seem good at this initial stage.

Saturday, 20th April 2002 -

Discovered an ulcer. Must've been the hot fries I had in McDonald's yesterday. Got up a few times earlier in the morning but just went back to sleep. Didn't get a good night's sleep again.

Ben, McDonald's manager called me at 1.17 pm. Just checked my call registers on my mobile. Great, I'll be seeing him at 5.30 pm this evening. Maybe we can work something out.

Tonight is WWF Smackdown night. I wonder if the Rock will be back on.

To end this post, I'd like to share something with all of you readers. There's this site that I visit once in a while to read his updates. Most of the articles are done by the owner ( I think ) called Matt. Some of his articles are really funny shit. I like his frank opinions and the use of the word "fuck" and other words in his articles. From what I know, he's a toy collector, he has some interests like I do - he likes 80s cartoons like He-Man etc.

Reading his articles make me reminisce about when I was a kid. Those were the days......I'd like to share the site with all of you readers out there - check out the archives for hidden goodies in the form of articles. Go check them out ... maybe you'll make the articles daily reading material, as long as he keeps updating his articles.

www.x-entertainment.com

I've specially picked out 2 specific articles which I found amusing.

New Kids on the Block - I remember I used to love this group as a kid! I knew the lyrics to the songs. OK - I admit, I like boybands. It doesn't make me a lamer OK?!?!
Anyway, I've read this article a couple of times and can't help but chuckle or smile. It's that good!

http://www.x-entertainment.com/messages/530.html

Yan Yan junk food - Malaysians will recognise this food on shelves. Somehow I don't think its as bad as Matt thinks it is ?!

OK, this is it for today....Definitely more updates to come. Stay tuned.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day: 122 (Wednesday, 17th April 2002)
Status: On call
Days without PS2: 10 days (I'm just giving an estimate here)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its been a few days since my last post. No big loss, I reckon. The fact is that its been a pretty boring week. I've hardly been going out. Gimme a break ok? Going out = spending money. And money is something I'm trying to save at the moment.

Maybe its the working experience that sets this feeling in. I'm feeling less desire to spend money. Knowing for a fact that I have to earn my own money kind of makes me think twice about spending unnecessarily. I guess I won't mention that Jamiroquai CD anymore. Oops. There I go again. Well, can't really depend on dad's money now. I bet they're waiting for me to get a more stable job and that's when their financial assistance will reduce or stop completely. :o

Haven't gone to work since Friday night. And the boss hasn't given me a call. Next time to report for work is Friday at 4 pm again. The entire week hasn't been interesting. Watched WWF RAW on tv last night. I noticed that my time in front of the idiot box has reduced alot. I wonder why? Haven't even touched my PS2 for quite some time now.

I called AL on Sunday night, around 10 pm but no one answered. I thought maybe she was out or in the shower. Didn't bother after that. Then I called again on Monday night about 10.30 pm and her housemate answered.

Me: Hi, can I speak to AL please?
HM: Sorry, AL's not here anymore.
Me: *What the...?* You mean she moved?
HM: Yeah, she moved out.
Me: Do you have her contact number or something?
HM: No, sorry.
Me: It's alright, thanks. *hang up*

AL moved! I didn't hear her talk about this the last time I talked to her. And she didn't even tell me about it. She still owes me a phone call. How am I gonna reach her now?

Also called Lily to find out the status of my Graduate Visa but she wasn't around. Spoke to her father and he mentioned there's no news about it yet.

Went out about 2.30 pm earlier to collect a parcel from the Post Office. My Graduation Photos are here. These are the ones taken when mum,dad and Ryan came in February. I wonder what happened to the ones I took with the girls. Might have to email them or give them a call to find out what happened.

Tried calling Melbourne Pathology to ask about payment methods but they were busy? How can that be? Might try calling another day or making a personal trip down there to enquire. Otherwise I need to get D to write me a cheque or ask him to make a credit card payment before I pay him back. It sucks not having a credit card. It could come in real handy.

Have been thinking about saving the money I got from work and using it to get a Nintendo Gamecube. Hrmm...what's with me and video games?!?! Grow up already, dammit! Some people on the PS forums seem to be really excited about the Gamecube which will launch here in Australia in the middle of May. People have this misconception that video games are only for kids. THIS IS NOT TRUE AT ALL!!! Adults play games all the time. Besides, I don't have a girlfriend, I can spend my money and pamper myself. Might as well do it while I still can.

I've seen photos of the black one. Looks kinda sexy. I would get this console for the remake of the Resident Evil games. There could be some other games worth getting. Will consider if its worth getting later once I've saved up more money.

I can't believe myself. Even when nothing interesting's happened, I still manage to write a crapload of stuff. Geez....

Well, I'm outta here.......

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day: 119
Status: On call
Days without PS2: 7 days (I'm just giving an estimate here)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK - I've had enough of that shit. The perfectionist inside me tells me that I "need alternate colours for the links on this page. One blue and one orange....alternate". I've tried getting alternate colours since last night and I've tried today but I still can't get it. I can't figure out the code where it sets the colours. So fuck it, I say. Either live with "rojak" colours or get rid of the additional links entirely.
Haven't decided which to do, maybe you guys can help me out. More links? 3 is enough?

Enough of that shit.

Shoutouts to my cousin Terence Eng in the US of A. Oh yes - and his girlfriend as well. A *toast* to the lovebirds. That's if you're all reading this on a regular basis. I'll try to entertain you people with my opinions and thoughts.

I seem to have more people visiting this site. Not bad I'd say. If I can get 1 person to read each day.....I might be able to publish a book and go to #1 on the New York Times Best Seller! YEAH RIGHT. Dream on. Never in my life have I considered being an author. NEVER EVER.

Work drained the energy out of me on Friday night. Got home around 12 am. Spent most of Saturday at home. That was last night.
Only stepped out of the apartment to throw out the garbage ( because it was my turn ) and go across the street to get dinner.

God damn I pigged out last night! I had a quarter of my quiche, 2 slices of toast then after that - ran across the road to get myself a Popcorn chicken combo. Not just any combo - I got the UPSIZE combo! OHMYGOD! Do you know the significance of an upsize combo? Let me fill you in. It consists of a LARGE popcorn chicken, a LARGE chips and a LARGE drink! I finished up the chicken and chips ( also known as fries elsewhere in the world ) watching V.I.P on tv.

Yes - I said V.I.P. You know....that show starring Pamela Anderson? V.I.P actually stands for Valerie Irons Protection. I hardly watch this series. The acting's wooden, the fight scenes are lame. I managed to catch the first episode here on Foxtel some time back. They were showing this on the AXN channel on MegaTV back home in Malaysia. It's about Valerie Irons, a nobody in Hollywood/Beverly Hills, working as a hotdog stand waitress. The only thing she looks forward to is shopping at boutiques ( I wonder how she affords designer labels working at a hotdog stand? )

One day, she gets a date from a hunky Hollywood star to attend some movie premiere or some shit like that. Upon arriving at the red carpet, an assasination attempt is made on the actor and being the chicken shit that he was, he shoved poor Valerie in front of the gun man to protect his own ass. The assassin hesitated awhile ( because of Valerie's jugs? *shrugs* ) and she somehow managed to disarm the man by fluke. The actor then claimed to all the paparazzi and reporters present that Valerie was his bodyguard undercover.

This was of course a subplot. The other storyline running parallel to the Valerie story was about a Protection Agency that was going out of business. The owner was in debt and was planning to run off with whatver money he had left. His scam was to sell off shares of his Agency to the 3 bodyguards he employed. They of course had no idea what was going on and thought being partners was a good thing. He finally ran off, leaving them in debt. The following day, they decided they needed to save the company, saw Valerie on every front page of the newspapers and magazines and decided to rope her in. She would have to do nothing, just being a mascot, handle clients at the same time looking pretty, while the 3 bodyguards handled the dirty work. Hence, V.I.P Agency was born.

Watching yesterday's episode got me thinking how much it seemed like a really LOW budget softcore porn movie. All the tell-tale signs were there. Unknown but fairly attractive stars, lots of flesh, and of course - the obligatory shower scene with music to set the mood. Yes...who can forget the shower scenes. The camera angle focuses on the back of the actress while she showers and she turns her body ever so slightly so that viewers get a glimpse of her breasts behind the silhouette of her body. Oh, did I mention all these wasn't done behind a shower screen? No no .. not shadows.. you get to see real flesh * winks *.

Anyway - the good thing about watching V.I.P are the special appearances by some famous people. Other than gorgeous girls in skimpy outfits, of course. I've seen WWF's very one Texas Rattlesnake "Stone Cold Steve Austin" in an episode where he was showing one of the female bodyguards some wrestling holds. I've seen the ads on tv which had Jerry Springer, Sherman Helmsley ( from the Jeffersons - damn, I never watched this but they just did an episode of Entertainment Tonight with him in it. I don't think I was even born when the Jeffersons were showing! ) among others. Last night episode was actually focussing on the Y2K bug which had a gifted teen from a special school writing some computer game which was what he thought he was doing. In actual fact, the school was contracted by the government to come up with a solution to handle the Y2K problem at the stroke of midnight. The entire episode had Valerie looking at watches and changing into different outfits, not wanting to miss the party of the Milennium. Anyway, the show ended with them saving the boy, saving the world (but of course) and the whole gang waltzing up to a mansion. Now - it wasn't just any mansion, it was the Playboy Mansion and who else as special guest star but Hugh Hefner himself. Some cheesy special effects of fireworks to commemorate the turn of the Milennium as they counted down to the New Year and the credits rolled. *yawn*

I was actually watching V.I.P while having dinner because WWF Smackdown was on after that! YEAH! Nothing like watching people giving and getting a good ass kicking. I wonder why the Rock wasn't on last night's show. Some of you might be left out, Smackdown and RAW are now 2 different "entities" and certain wrestlers only appear on either of the shows. The "People's Champion/Brahma Bull/The Great One" Rock, Kurt "Olympic Hero/Crybaby" Angle, Chris "Rabid Wolverine/Crippler" Benoit, Chris "Y2J" Jericho are among some of the people in Smackdown now. Can't find it or you're somehow blinded at this point? I'll be nice - just type this in your browser: www.wwf.com

And that's it! That's what I did on Saturday! How exciting. It's 2.30 pm, Sunday afternoon now. I'm still wondering if I should head down to the city to get my Jamiroquai CD. I think I hear some of you groaning now...yes...talking about the CD again. Some of you might go " Just go get the goddamn CD and stop telling us about 'thinking about getting it' so we don't have to listen to all your crap anymore ". Well guess what? I'm being sadistic now - I want to torture you readers. I might go on and on everyday about getting the CD. But hey, the SALE ends today. I might get it some other time from JB Hi-Fi some other time.

Maybe I should just save up the money and get it some other time. I could use the money for some other things.

At the top of the post, you will see that I have not touched my PS2 for about a week now. Interesting. Maybe I'll go fire up my baby if I've really got nothing else to do. My poor baby's been cold for 1 week now. She needs some warming up.

Great, I lost all net connection now. Can't post this. Have to save it on some document and post it up later. Damn. Why the fuck did he turn off his pc?

Hrm - going out to get groceries later. Must remember to get 3 packets of milk and NOT 2. 3 is enough to last me a week. Helps when I have slight gastric pains. Running out of some other items as well. Yup, definitely need to go shopping later. Whooo... I can't wait! I'm such a fucktard.

2.44 pm - Back online!

---------------------------------------
Day: 117/118
Status: Employed on part time basis (?)
---------------------------------------

Today was my 2nd day at work. Was told by Lim to get to the restaurant by 4pm before I left yesterday. Tonight, I worked from 4 pm - 11pm. I reached home around midnight. I did mostly the same things I did on the first day but I learnt more today. I learnt how to garnish the dishes and had to assist in preperation of some of the dishes as well. According to Lim, it's not as busy tonight as it normally is.

My tasks for tonight were:

- made more satay skewers
- helped to prepare the food
- prepared garnishing
- helped to cook
- dishwashing
- cleaning up

I finally found out some of the names of the dishes we cooked up. The indian kuih thinggie is actually called croquettes. I guess its not an indian dish after all. The rest of the dishes were the satay, bon bons and some others.

There were 4 of us in the kitchen and a dishwasher called Carl from China. The rest were Ken and Lim (both Malaysians) and Brian from Hong Kong. Also met some of the waitresses and waiters. I remember Dennis and the other guy (who's from SS1). Both a little feminine in terms of character. Also met the 2 waitresses, one Australian ( quite pretty, with short hair, kinda like what Siti Hajar from back home used to have ) and the other one an Indonesian. Unfortunately, their names elude me at the moment. I guess I'm mentally exhausted from work. On both occasions, both girls introduced themselves to me first. There were another 2 Australians there, one was the manager and the other girl, might have been the assistant manager.

After work, we got our pay for the night. Tonight I earned AUS $ 70. I guess I've been promoted to AUS $10/hour now. Talked to Lim a little on the way home in the tram before he got off at Melbourne Central. He seemed like a nice guy. I asked him when I should come to work next and he said next Friday at the same time. He said he doesn't know if the Aunties need my help, so I guess I should wait for them to call me.

Dropped of my authorisation letter at Dr. Radford's office before I went to work this afternoon. It was drizzling the whole day and it must've rained earlier tonight. I can still hear the raindrops outside my window.

Played a game of Literati earlier in the day with PF. Other than that, the day was rather uneventful.

Guess this is all for tonight. More to come soon.

---------------------------------------
Day: 116
Status: Employed on part time basis (?)
---------------------------------------

Dear Diary ( Sorry - I just couldn't resist :p ),

Today I've earned my very first paycheck. AUS $45 to be exact. Yes - no one can now tell me how hard is it to earn a living yadda yadda yadda. I know how hard it is to earn money now.

I wonder what I should do with the two $20 notes and the $5 note. Should I keep them as rememberence? Should I laminate and frame it up? What should I do with it?

Almost tempted to spend it today after I got off work. Planned to get off at Lonsdale Street and walk to Myers and get Jamiroquai's
"A Funk Odyssey" but the lazy bone in me stopped me from doing so. Just sat in the tram and came all the way home, had a quick shower then off for a rest. Don't know why my second toe is hurting. Might have been in a bent position while I was doing work.

So in case some of you didn't know - I got a job as a kitchen hand at Shakahari, a vegetarian restaurant along Faraday Street (Near Lygon St) in Carlton. First day on the job, 5 hours standing,non-stop task after task. Let's have a look what I did today.

- peeled potatoes
- peeled and shred carrots (give me a decent-sized carrot and a hand shredder and I'll make you a studded dildo)
- chop onions (my poor eyes)
- slice toufu
- cube vegetarian meat
- moved some heavy tins and bottles to the store
- skewered vegetarian meat, onions, toufu and capsicum on sticks to make satay
- made some Indian kuih sort of thinggie
- wash dishes

Yes - I did mention something about a dildo up there, this is Rated-R after all. Can you imagine I was thinking of dildoes while peeling a carrot? Don't know why, it just came to me. I started shredding the carrot in one direction. Then I thought I'd have some fun and shredded it 45 degrees to the left, then shredded it 45 degrees to the right resulting in a rough, bumpy surface. I touched it and it was rough cause of the little studs I created on the surface of the carrot. Now - use that and you've got yourself a studded dildo :p

Anyway, I spent 5 hours on my feet constantly doing something after the other. Non stop. At the end of the shift, Mrs. Khaw offered me a meal which I accepted. Her sister offered to make me laksa but I told them I can't take hot and spicy food. They then said why not the satay that I helped to prepare! Why not? I had 2 satays with a creamy peanut sauce (which was really good), some pickled cucumber, a serve of vegies (long beans and peas) and a small serving of rice. This was their house speciality by the way. After lunch, helped wash up some more and then spoke to Norman who gave me my "trainee's wages" for the day. My first hard-earned AUS $45.

- ANITA -

Who's Anita? She's my new colleague and was the waitress on duty today. I don't know she was the one who was there when I got there this morning. I didn't really get a good look at her face in the morning. Anita had dark hair, short, probably shoulder length but she had it tied in a pony tail. She's Australian, possibly Greek. Not sure - didn't have a chance to chat with her.

I was busy doing my tasks in the kitchen and she came in with some dirty dishes.I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back and said.....

Anita: I'm Anita by the way....
Me: Hi *smiling*

Hrm - what a way to meet girls. I know, I know. Some of you must think I'm hopeless or something now. Sadly, didn't really get to talk to her much. She was outside and I was in the kitchen the whole time. She only came in once in awhile with more dirty dishes.

Before I left, I met Lim. He's the kitchen supervisor for the night shift. I'll be working for him tomorrow when I have to be at work at
4pm. He might be Malaysian, didn't really get to talk to him as well. He seems pretty close with the 2 aunties.

Mrs. Khaw's sister seemed abit strict at first but gradually seemed to warm up. She kept stressing the on the importance that there was no time to be wasted since they open for business at 12.30 pm. She was alright after that. Mrs. Khaw, as usual, was her chatty self. And oh, Norman was the manager for today. Seemed like a nice fellow. Offered me a cup of coffee not long after I started with my tasks today. After that, Anita came in offering orange juice.

Well - this is it for tonight. More to come tomorrow ( hopefully )

Day: 116
Status: I should be asleep now!
---------------------------------------

Once again, I find myself apologising to PF. PF, if you're reading this.
" I wish I didn't make so many mistakes. I guess there's nothing to say but I'm an idiotic jerk. I wish I didn't piss you off all the time which I've been doing so often lately. I really didn't expect things to turn out the way they did. I wish I could take back the hurtful things that I said and undo the wrongs that I've done. Please forgive me. "
---------------------------------------
Day: 115
Status: Got a part time job!!!
---------------------------------------

How things have changed in just a day. Was outside for a few hours entertaining Sam, chatting about stuff and went for a shower after that. Got back into the room and came online and saw PF online. Checked my mobile phone because I thought PF would've sent me an SMS in reply to the ones I sent her earlier. What did I find ? 5 missed calls. First thing that came into my mind was that G called - which wasn't normal because she normally doesn't call this early. Upon checking the "Call Register" function of my phone, I realised that it was Uncle Khaw who called me. I promptly called him back and he told me he wants me to start work tomorrow at 10 am.

* I am so totally unprepared for this *

I agreed to everything, said I'd see him tomorrow at 10 am then continued chatting with PF online. Then PF asked me a couple of questions that made me realise I should have asked them earlier. I called Uncle Khaw again and asked how much would the wages be and I got reprimanded for my efforts! : (

* Now I'm a little sad but I'll live *

He said something about giving the job a try and then discussing the wages later. I gave the excuse that I'd have to inform my parents about it. He then carried on saying something about "being young, the most important thing is to impress the employers etc and wages should be the last thing on your mind."

* I wonder if I just gave him a bad impression of myself. After all, I've never met him but only spoke to his wife and his brother-in-law *

I'll go tomorrow and see how things go.

Did some of the things that I said I was going to do today. Managed to write the letter to Dr. Radford but I haven't sent it out yet. Was supposed to go to the post office this afternoon but felt lazy. Thought I'd do it tomorrow but the call was unexpected. Should be able to do it after "work". That's if I don't put it off again.

Looks like a late night is a no-no for me tonight. Have to go to bed early and be up around 8 am if I want to get to "work" on time.

---------------------------------------
Day: 114
Status: Still unemployed
---------------------------------------

Just finished watching WWF RAW - watched Stone Cold open a can of whoop-ass on Scott Hall. Watched abit of Rove Live after that and Anastacia performed her single "One Day In Your Life". Damn she's gorgeous.

Ahem....better not get carried away. Carry on with blog.

A quick shout out to Fione Cheong who was unhappy that she wasn't mentioned in the first post. " Fione, I hope you're happy now " ; )

Also apologies to Kin Leong - " Sorry man, didn't call you before I left the city today."

"FUCKTARD"

"Huh?WTF?!?!" you said? I really have no idea why - but this word has been in my mind for days now. I must've read or heard that somewhere and it just stuck. Before I forget, this page will be rated-R from this moment forth. Not one for the kiddies ; )
I've also decided that I might use initials when filling in names now to protect the privacy of all people involved. People I do not like might be referred to fucktards from now on. Maybe something else if I'm in a better mood. This applies to those who get on my nerves and piss me off as well.

Some of you might not really know me really well. So here's abit about myself I'm sharing with you now. I observe things, people especially. I wouldn't call it ogling. I know where to draw the line. So today, I'll add in something new which I call " Observation of the Day ". Is the grammar correct there? Sentence Structure? Screw it.... here it goes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Observation of the day:

I was on the tram home after a long day in the city. I was having a window seat and had a good view of all the people and the gorgeous gals walking by. Could see the gorgeous gals driving nice cars going by. I was close to home, a few hundred metres from the last stop where I would normally get off. We're in the tram going pass QPO (the cafe at Kew Junction) and I look in and what did I see? A lady, probably in her 40s sitting on a bar-stool at the bar-type table across the window, which was from the floor to the ceiling. I don't know if she realised that people from outside could be looking in although the window was tinted ( I assume ). She was wearing a knee-length skirt and if she'd open her legs any wider, passers-by would have a free show. I found it a pretty amusing sight.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Looks like I've managed to accomplish everything that I said I would yesterday. Maybe I'll start a "To Do" list after this.

# 1 - Went to see Dr. Radford this morning. Medication seems to be working fine. Blood pressure now down to 140/90 which is
progress according to him.

Dr. Radford : You're blood pressure is much better. It's working. We're getting there. I'll let you continue with your current
medication.

Talked to him about the medical report that Lily (fucktard?) wanted, which she said she would charge for. Dr.Radford mentioned
that he won't be charging anything for the report. All he needs is a note or letter, the proper procedure to do things. I asked if I
could personally write him the letter to send the report to Lily personally. Must write that letter tonight, get it printed and mailed
to Dr. Radford ASAP.

Next appointment in 6 weeks.

# 2 - Finally managed to get to Minotaur and got myself a copy of Battle Chasers # 9 which is still in my bag at the moment. They
don't do reservations unless its 5 titles or more. Saw a copy of Danger Girls # 7, which I almost wanted to get though I can't
remember if I already have it. Might need to get D or Daf to check out my cupboard.

# 3 - Went to NO LESS THAN 5 shops looking for D's software. All of them don't stock it but Mail Order Software did a search online
and gave me a number to contact. I guess will have to ask D to mail them personally to ask about the price.

# 4 - Had wedges with cheese sauce, bacon bits and sour cream in a nacho basket for lunch. All washed down with a Coke ( better
than Pepsi IMO )

# 5 - Spent a couple of hours in the city, especially in Myers. Checked out the games and CDs on sale. Wanted to get Jamiroquai's
latest CD " A Funk Odyssey" which is on sale at $ 20. Seems like a good buy and I've heard 3 of the tracks from there, 2 of
which I have on MP3. Maybe some other time. Tempted to get Tekken Tag Tournament and Dead or Alive 2. There's 10 % of
PS2 games at the moment. Very temtping.

Well, well, well.....who else do I see hogging the PS2 with the ICO demo but the same guy I saw the other day. Is the game
really that good? Does he really love the game that much?
Stomach wasn't feeling that good after that and I had to rush home - it was an emergency.

Not bad, posting 2 days in a row. I'm sure I can get the hang of it and do it regularly. Wonder who else would be interested in ramblings of a madman here.

First things first....

Pui Fuen, if you're reading this, I hope you accept my apologies. I don't know what's wrong with me lately. I keep getting on your nerves/pissing you off. I guess you're stressed about your studies and my timing just sucks. Hope you'll feel better after a night's rest. Good luck with your test tomorrow - hope it goes well.

OK, I've managed to figure out to get rid of the damned code out of the main web-page heading. Time to start writing away.
The problem I have is not being able to keep this up regularly. I've already tried a couple of times but I just give up half-way. Some mild case of ADD ( Attention Deficiency Disorder ) at work here? Maybe I need to set a daily timer for this.

To all of you checking this out for the first time, "WELCOME". I promise to give you a glimpse of what's going through my mind, at least that's what I'll try. This is the first time I've done something like this - useful criticisms are most welcome. I've yet to find out the rest of the stuff that I can do with this site at the moment. Hopefully, I'll make it as interesting as possible. Since I've got some spare time at the moment, would probably like to try something different for once.

Back to the blogs....

Went for a blood test this afternoon. The nurse (with an accent) confirmed the payment methods before attemtping to begin with the test.

Nurse: You can pay by cheque or credit card

Me: What? But I came here many times before! I've always paid cash...

Nurse: Money was stolen so we don't accept cash anymore. Are you ok with that?

Me: Urm, yeah sure - that'll be fine.

Nurse: So - have you done blood tests before?

Me: Yeah sure. Many times before.

Nurse: That's good * proceeds to poke me with the needle*. Hrm - are you nervous?

Me: Errr, maybe a little....

Nurse: You're not bleeding * some blood fills up the tube *

Me: * shit * Is that enough blood there?

Nurse: Yeah,it should be enough.

I thought I had everything under control. After that...

Nurse: * puts on cotton ball * Now you start to bleed. * applies pressure on the puncture wound * OK, all done now. Don't put
pressure on that arm for about one hour. No pushing no pulling,do you understand me? Try to keep the arm upright if possible.

Me: Yup, alright ( how am I supposed to keep my arm upright? ) * proceeds to grab jacket, ready to leave *

Nurse: I thought I just told you not to use that arm?!?!?

Sheesh....

The rest of the day has been unproductive. Arm feels a little numb at the elbow joint. Ouch.

Have to go out tomorrow to see Dr. Radford for the regular check-up. Most probably heading down to the city after that to check out some software for Deidere. She asked me to check the price of Archicad 7.0. Might head down to Minotaur to get that latest issue of Battle Chasers #9. It's been so long since I read it, I have no idea what's going on anymore.

Still waiting for news about my Temporary Graduate Visa. Refuse to call the lawyer,Lily, because all she wants is money! Damnit!!
Well, might wait until after this week and give her a call. She might have something for me already.

As far as job applications go, Aunty Khaw said she'll call me when she needs an extra pair of hands. Going to have to start off as dishwasher and work my way up to kitchen hand! On the other hand, Ben ( Manager at McD's Kew ) recognises me now. I've been in there 2 times in the past 2 weeks and both times, he asked me if I have news of my visa. He said that he's got someone leaving so there's an opening. I said I'd get back to him as soon as I have news.

113 days since Graduation and I'm still unemployed. Wonder how are the rest of the guys doing back home. Hey, a personal countdown. SWEET! I hope I got the number of days correct though. Might need to re-calculate if something goes wrong.

I think its about time I call it a night. More tomorrow night I suppose - after WWF RAW.
Stuffed something up on the first try. This is the 2nd go at the same journal. Hopefully I'll learn some coding in the process.
