Listening to: Fabolous (feat. Tamia) - So Into You
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Time for another update. The weather is as shitty as hell. Looks hazy but its hot. Rain would be good.
I just noticed that I entered the wrong day for yesterday's blog. My concept of time is completely fcuked. Thats what happens when you go for classes on Saturdays and Sundays as well - you don't know what day it is anymore. Sometimes I wake up in the morning wondering if I have to get up or just go back to bed.
Also got to remember to fix that picture on the sidebar. I thought I had it removed but its still showing.
Did 50 crunches this morning. Go me! Now - can I keep it up? I'm targetting 100 stomach crunches per day.
Almost done with my online resume. Might be good to go for the presentation tomorrow. If there's going to be one. Just need to scan some pictures and its all set.
Seems that I can't get bored watching "Taste Of Travel" on tv. Anthony Bourdain's shows are pretty entertaining - especially the segment he did on hotdogs. He was looking for the "perfect dog" it seems. Mmmm mmm mmm. Wish I could have a hotdog now.
So this morning, I flipped the switched and they had "Taste Of Travel" on Channel 11. I think its the 3rd time I'm watching this special segment on ice-cream. Yeah... ice cream is good too. I could do with some right now. Who says you don't learn anything good on tv? Did you know Haagan Dazs is actually an American invention? Bet you didn't know that eh?
Fcuk - WWE: Here Comes the Pain is still not out! WY was kind enough to go check it out at Parkson for me. Guess nothing I can do but wait a little more. Shouldn't be long now, should it?
Time to go fix the mistakes. Check back soon.

Day: Tuesday - 28th October 2003
Time: 12:42 pm
Listening to: Aaliyah (feat. R.Kelly) - Let Me Know
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm back. I'll try to make updates a regular thing.
Interviews for my Industrial Attachment begins on Thursday. Best of luck to the Champion group. Everyone should be preparing or getting their stuff together now. And what am I doing here? Surfing the web, chatting. I think I've got most of it ready. Might have abit more to add - the rest is just mental preperation I suppose.
Now when am I going to get my car? Going to have to go off to work soon and I still don't have a car. My Honda Civic - hrm.... maybe I should listen to WC and be realistic. Of course I know its expensive for a car that old. Now they're thinking of getting a Kembara and letting me keep the Wira. Maybe I should be glad I have that instead of something smaller. I've waited about 6 years for the Civic - what's another few more going to be huh? Maybe I'll aim for something else after that - say a Skyline GT-R or Impreza WRX Sti? Still, better wait and see.
Bought about RM 300 worth of shirts the other day. Yes, I don't think I have enough clothes. No sales yet. Shit. Bet I could get a much better deal if there were discounts. Might start to check out FOS more often now. Could get my stuff from them.
They have a newly designed Air Cortez at Parkson Grand, Subang Parade. Now is it a good thing I didn't get the shoes the last time around. It still costs a freaking RM 275. Dilemma....
If you're still checking out my blogs to see if I've updated it, good on you. Now, if you haven't seen "The Rundown", I think you should give it a go. Watched it and I found it pretty enjoyable. Maybe its a biased opinion because I like The Rock. But what have you got to lose? I'm sure you might have watched movies much worse if "The Rundown" isn't your cup of tea.
Two websites have already reviewed WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain and pretty high scores:- 9.0 average. So what's the problem? I can't freaking buy it because I can't find it yet. When the fcuk is it coming out?!?! Pretty desperate considering its just a video game.
Pretty hazy now - might be going to rain. I can almost smell it. Rain is good. The weather's been pretty shitty lately.

Day: Thursday - 9th October 2003
Time: 10:53 am
Listening to: Limp Bizkit (feat. Everclear) - Faith/Fame
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Four whole months since the last attempt for a post. Now this sort of things can only lead to lots to blog about. Should I even attempt?
This means I've been in the Government re-skilling program for close to 4 months now. Just got an e-mail saying that interviews will be held end of the month. Good Luck to everyone. Project's just started. I'm sure the team will do well althought we seem to be taking it pretty easy for now. I think everyone needs abit more motivation.
Went for a camping/team building camp last week - at a place called Sungai Chongkak all the way in Hulu Langat. Came back with muscle aches and blisters.
Can't remember when was the last time I met any friends outside from the training place.
CG (who's in Singapore now) doesn't seem to be responding to me SMS-es and ICQ messages. Did I do something wrong? I'm afraid to even make a telephone call. I wonder if she will read this.
Juggling between 2 choices of shoes now - both retro styled, 1970's styled shoes. The Nike Air Cortez or the Adidas Montana. Both cost in the region of RM 200 plus. Now if only I can find a friggin size-12!
Dad is not amused. He's not happy about lots of things I reckon. Like the fact I paid a year's worth of Gym fees and actually going out for a grand total of TWO times, since I signed up way back in June. Maybe I'm not disciplined enough. I'm making excuses saying I don't have the time which is true to a certain extent. Maybe its because I've been "forced" to sign up. I didn't really want to sign up. Being forced to do something you don't have the will to do. Where's the motivation in that?
Yeah, celebrated my 24th a few months back. Have no recollections of it though. I had a cake and that's about it I think. Nothing fancy.
Had this craving to try Bleu Cheese Steak with Cheesy Mashed Potatoes from TGIF's ever since I read about it in the food reviews of the StarOnline. Yes, and I haven't even tasted it yet dammit. Sounds good though.
Got my XBOX modded for about RM 150 at Sg Wang. Went with WY. It was a bargain considering Marioland was charging close to RM 300 for that! Thank god I waited. I guess lugging that damn brick around for hours was worth it after all. But shit, no way I am going to lug the XBOX around unless I really have to.
Now time to console myself. About 19 days to the USA release of WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain. 24 years old and still playing video games.

Back after about a month. In case you're wondering about the link above, its an online "radio-station" that I got from my friend, J. In case you are interested, you need Winamp to access it. Just open "Winamp" and press control + L and copy and paste the link above into the window that pops up.
A quick shout-out to J, if you're reading this "Hey man!". I must have lost touch with him for months, a year probably - who knows. The last time I saw him was when I was still back in Melbourne. We saw each other online, chatted for abit, he wanted have dinner, and we went to Victoria Street to have Vietnamese while catching up on things.
So fast forward to 2 days back, I see him online again. Turns out he's online - but just kicking back and observing in IRC. So what do I found out after all this time of not being in contact? He's sold of his old car and gotten himself a Subaru Impreza STi v5. Lucky SOB!!!! Sorry J, you know I mean that affectionately :D
Here's a picture in case you're wondering what this lovely machine looks like. The rumble of the exhaust is truly one of a kind.
I assume his car is the standard Mica Blue (I think) with the gold rims, unless he's changed his car. So, it would look something like this beauty above. J, you're a lucky guy!
Anyway, last week was compeltely shitty. Where should I even begin? Let's start with the day when my stuff arrived from Melbourne. Yes, thanks to KE, I got back all my shit, XBOx, GameCube and the rest of my video games. Of course they packed in my Nikes, Timberland boots, my (one and only) suit, some clothes, 2 harddisks, some RAM chips, important documents, etc. Collecting my shit from the MAS cargo, damn....that's another story. To make a long story short, I wasted about 3 hours that Saturday just to collect my things!
Come Sunday morning. I was feeling so free with nothing much to do after breakfast. My itchy fingers decided to do something when I decided to install a secondary (slave) hard disk. My current PC had about 20 GB and I wanted to slap in the 30 GB one to replace the 20 GB one as the master. As my fucking luck would have it, the 20 GB harddisk got burnt. I was pissed, dad was irritating me and I didn't wanna bother any of my friends to ask them to come over with Windows on their CDs to do the formatting for me because I needed to format and re-install Windows. Had to send it to the shop in the end. Damage = RM 90 for something I could have done myself. What the hell was I thinking? I just needed to get a pirated CD. Oh hell, I was pissed and irritated. If only I didn't take out the harddisks, everything would be smooth sailing.
Went for an interview on Monday, software engineer. Was given a freaking test on Visual Basic 6 which I completely forgotten how to do. Too bad because the girl who interviewed me was also the Software Engineer there, she's not too shabby.
Then on Tuesday, went to Shah Alam for a 2nd "assessment test". Thought it was the interview I was supposed to go for for the Software Engineering re-skilling course. What the hell am I blabbing about? It's a 6 month classroom + 6 month industrial attachment course, fully funded by the Government. I'll get RM 500/month during the classroom segments and extra RM 300 during industrial attachment with the company. The perks were that we would be almost guranteed jobs once we finish with this.
The problem was the limited places. Only 40 were allocated while more than a 100 turned up on Open Day. That's why, interviews were postponed and we had to take 3 tests then. Back to Monday, upon arriving and expecting names to be called for interviews, we were all ushered into the Auditorium to listen to a speech. We were given numbers and a question sheet. Turns out we were given 3 days to complete a piece of software program! Shit - The worse thing was having to do the work entirely at the centre in Shah Alam. Went out and bought a reference book that afternoon. I was really desperate!
YES - that meant alot of travelling and waiting! Just like old times. So finally did the presentation on Friday. I can honestly say what I did in that 3 days was what took me a semester to do at Monash. Now that's crash course learning for you!
Today, I get a call from them telling me I've been shortlisted. Gotta be there on the 3rd of June for Open Day. Go me! Going back to school. Now, if only some hot chicks are there as well. :D
The weather has been an absolute killer. Only short rainfall yesterday afternoon. This hot and dry weather is expected to last till August. Fuck it - I need rain!
Social life's taken a backseat lately. Talked to JC online, might meet up this weekend for a drink. Was supposed to meet up with JT during the Labour Day holidays but didn't. Met up with the other guys from APIIT for a few games of pool at the Matrix in Phileo D'sara.
CG - ah...the lovely CG. No, I haven't forgotten you :) I have been meaning to contact you, SMS you at least, but I don't know why I just keep putting it off. If you read this, I hope you're alright. I promise you'll hear from me one of these days. That's a promise and my promises are as good as gold :)
Just had a look at the ol' x-entertainment site. Shit there's alot of catching up to do. I miss that site. Got to catch up on some reading pretty soon and I suggest you do the same. Go here - www.x-entertainment.com
Looks like its time to hit the sack. I initially planned to do something about people. Just an observation of mine. Perhaps I'm cynical. Might do that one some other time. Now its time to pull the blanket of darkness over my eyes and sail off to Dreamland.
