Un-FUCKING-believable.....

I was awakened by a couple of text messages at about 5:00 am on Saturday morning. Come to think of it, I couldn't remember if I was just dozing off or if I was still awake.

I checked my phone to check who it was and I found that Seller A had sent me 2 messages, one with the price of the K800i which I was interested in purcharing from her and the second, a message asking if I would like to COD somewhere in PJ or at Lowyat Plaza.

I was confused and found it strange that she sent me messages because:

a) I didn't enquire what the latest price was (apparently, the distributors change the prices everyday so we have to contact these sellers to get the latest price. Prices were going up due to it being the holiday season and higher demand for these items)

b) It was fucking 5:00 am in the morning

Still, I was desperately trying to get the phone so I replied, informing her I just received the message at about 5 o'clock in the morning. Seller A then replied that, and apparently, she seemed confused as well as I was. She then informed me that the price was RM 10 higher than what she quoted in the sms that she had no recollecting of sending AND she was not able to do COD in PJ and the meeting place would have to be at Lowyat.

Once again, I was obliging (I was desperate for the phone) and replied, asking her what time I should meet her at Lowyat. No reply. Then I went to sleep. When I woke up a few hours later, still no reply from her. I checked my email and MSN Messenger. No messages.

This was the 2nd time I was FFK-ed by her. Un-FUCKING-believable. And I think it was exactly 1 week after the first time. All this while, no contact from Seller B either.

So I have to think to myself again, don't they want my money? Plus all the "gurantees" that contacting them before a certain time will ensure that we can get our phones the same day don't mean jack-shit anymore. I think "good customer feedback" and reputation in this case don't mean a damned thing as well.

Advice to people out there, instead of wanting to save a couple of bucks - I reckon its better to go to a store and get it off the shelves. But then again, I'm sure you already knew that.....

The rumours regarding the K900i was apparently a fake report created by some people on a Sony Ericsson forum who obviously had a little too much time on their hands. Still, within the next year, a phone with similar specs may be announced. And why wouldn't it?
